Germany's oldest pipe manufacture, with roots dating back to 1848, Vauen has seen many innovations over the years, including the 9mm filter, which has since become a permanent fixture across many of the marque's designs. The German firm's Pure series presents a wide variety of shapes in either a smooth or a sandblasted finish, both of which are dressed in a smoky auburn stain lending a reserved yet stylish palette to any pipe it adorns. This particular "1230" Poker is found in the Pure series' striking smooth finish, highlighting some fetching grain throughout the stummel.
