Vauen: Auenland Almar Smooth Churchwarden (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Many pipe makers pair Churchwarden stems with diminutive, pert little bowls. Not so, Vauen. The legendary German marque offers robust, tall, Egg-shaped bowls that are quite stylish, this particular version featuring a dramatically sloping rim, plenty of chamber capacity and a whimsical heel spur. It's wearing a smoldering auburn stain that is complemented by the Churchwarden mouthpiece. This Auenland Almar pipe is part of a series inspired by the fantasy novels of J.R.R. Tolkien and as such, the solid, gently bent stems are fashioned from beechwood and lined with acrylic for easier cleaning and enhanced smoking properties.
