Germany's largest and oldest pipe making marque, Vauen's history dates back to 1848 and comprises decades of innovations such as the 9mm pipe filter, something the majority of their pipes still utilize today. The Relax line comprises a pair of shapes, the plump "44" bent Apple and the robust "27" bent Billiard, unified by their pairing to lengthy Churchwarden stems and a shimmering, silvery military mount. Both of these shapes provide ample curves for the fingers to appreciate, and come in a trio of finishes: a dark, glossy stain, a warm matte stain, and a deep, crisp sandblast. Each of these finishes stays true to the line's name, enabling easy relaxation through their comfortable textures, while the Churchwarden stem makes these pipes apt companions for reading. In addition, each individual pipe comes with an extra, shorter stem that allows for easy jaw-hanging and more convenient pocket-carry.
