Vauen: Tuerca Smooth Brown (111) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Founded in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger and Carl August Zeiner, Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe factory and the birthplace of the 9mm pipe filter — an innovation that has since become standard across most of the marque's designs. Vauen's Tuerca line — Tuerca means "nut" in Spanish — presents an assortment of the German marque's most recognizable shapes in one of two distinct finishes: a matte brown finish or a jet-black finish. Either presentation is unified by a decorative metal ring, which adorns the junction and resembles the "nut" for which the line is named. Additionally, each piece in the line comes included with a pipe tamper and a tin box. The series' unique matte brown dress can be seen here adorning this "11" Billiard shape.
