Vauen: Felix (1) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Founded in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger and Carl August Zeiner, Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe factory and the birthplace of the 9mm pipe filter — an innovation that has since become standard across most of the marque's designs. Made in collaboration with esteemed designer Felix Hoffman, Vauen's Felix series offers a selection of Volcanoes, each of which features a stocky bowl; a broad, ridgeline-wrapped waistline; a steeply tapered rim; and a sturdy shank-and-stem arrangement. These Felix compositions are presented in three different unique finishes, including a glossy white polish, a glossy black polish, and a glossy brown polish. This particular Felix design boasts the line's dark finish, complemented here by a flashy metallic accent.
