Vauen: Caletta (581) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-457-10046

Founded in 1848, Vauen is the oldest German pipe maker. Their most famous innovation was the creation of the 9mm activated carbon filter, which a majority of their pipes accommodate. The Caletta line presents pipes in a rugged, earthy sandblast, save for the auburn smooth finishes around the rim and shank end. Furthermore, the Caletta series features a unique shank and stem junction, as both elements are fitted with shining metal rings that are separated by an acrylic notch. This particular "81" by Vauen is the brand's rendition of a bent Pot, pairing a broad, supple bowl to a demurely curved shank-and-stem arrangement.
