Vauen: Maris (715) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Vauen's "15" design changes slightly depending on its series, always being sinuously bent but shifting bowl shape between Billiard and Apple designs. In the Maris line, the "15" is a classic bent Billiard, exhibiting the muscular proportions that so often characterize the German marque's design aesthetic.

The Maris series was released in 2021 and was named after the latin term for meerschaum: spuma maris. Fittingly, Maris pipes feature meerschaum-lined chambers, offering the visual aesthetic of classic briar but with the neutral and dry smoking properties of the porous mineral. The pearl white, acrylic stem echoes the hue of meerschaum chamber and adds handsome contrast against the Maris line's rich, chestnut stain, further elevated by a tasteful, silver-hued accent.
