Vauen: Tuerca Smooth Brown (137) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-457-11386
Founded in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger and Carl August Zeiner, Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe factory and the birthplace of the 9mm pipe filter — an innovation that has since become standard across most of the marque's designs. Vauen's Tuerca line — Tuerca means "nut" in Spanish — presents an assortment of the German marque's most recognizable shapes in one of two distinct finishes: a matte brown finish or a jet-black finish. Either presentation is unified by a decorative metal ring, which adorns the junction and resembles the "nut" for which the line is named. Additionally, each piece in the line comes included with a pipe tamper and a tin box. The series' unique matte brown dress can be seen here adorning this "37" bent Apple shape.
