This is a modernist powerhouse of a Bulldog pipe, as wide as it is tall, as massive as it is sharp, and with a definite dynamic to its lines. The latter is all the more reinforced by Werner's choice of stem accent, a section of craggy plateau stained in a lighter, stronger contrast, giving it the appearance of a rocket-flame in the act of propelling this sandblasted juggernaut.
