Werner Mummert: Sandblasted Reverse Calabash Cavalier Poker Tobacco Pipe

Here Werner Mummert has taken the concept of "dynamic muscularity" to new heights with this Poker rendition. More than an up-scaled iteration of his immensely popular minimal Poker shapes, this fellow comes with the added practical features of a functional Cavalier cap and reverse-Calabash engineering, to ensure both a smooth, dry smoke and easier cleaning. Sporting an architectural, modernist form, the lines are crisp and tight, with the lightest bit of dynamism added via the deftly executed sandblast. It should also be noted that though this fellow's bowl does appear immensely deep, the chamber actually only descends about a third of the way down, making its dimensions more akin to a standard Billiard, and the rest of the space is occupied by that capacious cooling chamber. A novel design with a charm all its own.
