Werner Mummert: Sandblasted Reverse Calabash Barrel Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-560-0119
Whether it's in shaping, engineering, finishes, or just the overall look of a piece, Werner Mummert's work is hard to describe as anything other than unique. You'll notice a bit of stylistic influence here and there, particularly in those rare occasions of a classic shape, but for the most part, Mummert does his own thing, and has created quite a following for doing so. Here we have one the most iconic examples of his avant-garde work: a wonderfully tubular Barrel with reverse Calabash engineering. From the faced off fore to the threaded tenon, the shape is just a long, minimalist tube, housing a serious cooling chamber between the bowl and the end of the stummel. You're looking for a new pipe that's a bit different from the norm, well... you're already a step ahead by checking out Mummert's work.
