Werner Mummert: Sandblasted Oak Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-560-0183
Werner Mummert is a man who understands the value of good materials, and that's nowhere more evident than in these oak pipes, which are carved from oak beams salvaged from a 16th century church. The material sports the fetching, striated grain patterns of morta, though in a slightly more traditional form, and here makes for a striking piece rendered as an elegant bent Apple. Sporting an almost festive appearance, its dark-hued stummel has been paired to a green accent and red-hued stem, a pairing as sleek and sophisticated as anyone could hope for. And as for the shape itself, the bowl is particularly meaty, filling the hand — and allowing you to feel all of that fine, sandblasted texture — with relative ease.
