Known for his inventive approach to pipemaking and one-of-a-kind designs, Werner Mummert once again flexes his creative muscles with this Reverse Calabash Poker. The bowl itself is quite classic — a tall, cylindrical Poker bowl in a natural finish. At the shank is where things get particularly interesting. Made of tempered glass, the shank functions as a see-through condensation chamber, enabling onlookers to enjoy the smoke swirling inside. The glass is extremely sturdy and heat resistant and neutral, so there's no need to worry about it imparting aroma and flavor. To make cleaning a breeze, Mummert has fitted an insulated, removable cap on the end (to which the abbreviated mouthpiece connects), making this a piece that's as practical as it is whimsical.
