Werner Mummert: Sandblasted Reverse Calabash Barrel

Product Number: 002-560-0216

When it comes to signature shapes, none are perhaps as easy to spot as those by Werner Mummert. Whether it's one of his insanely colorful De Stijl pieces or a charmingly tubular Reverse Calabash Barrel like we see here, Mummert certainly takes his own unique approach to pipe design, often pushing the boundaries of what we even considered possible (his Rubik's Cube pipe is a great example of this). He's created quite a following from his unique approach as well. These Barrels, for example, are quite popular among Mummert enthusiasts, though it's no wonder why. The shape's quite interesting, being perfectly cylindrical in form, and Werner's careful attention to detail and engineering make it one hell of a smoker as well.
