Werner Mummert's Bulldog designs are easily spotted from across the room, even without this one's Art Deco finish. The shape itself is firm, and quite streamlined in this particular rendition — elongated of shank but still quite angular and rigid. It strikes a cutting profile that displays a streamlined sense that's contrasted by the extra-broad shaping of the shank. Said bowl is decidedly flared above the pointed, boat hull-like heel and features the conventional beadlines more along the rim than around the actual bowl.
