Winslow: 50th Anniversary Smooth with Silver (045) Tobacco Pipe

This special 2019 pipe celebrates Poul's 50th anniversary of pipemaking, having started at the age of 17 in Preben Holm's workshop. Each pipe is stamped with the five decades date range, 1969 to 2019, and exudes beautiful Danish shaping cues — fitting into the carver's more traditional aesthetic, compared to his other Freehand-like designs. A traditional Danish-style Horn, the profile flows sinuously from bit to rim, flaring gradually and showcasing a strong degree of forward momentum. It's accented with a mount combination of creamy acrylic and flashy sterling silver, while the stummel here wears a lively red contrast stain, showcasing a conflagration of lovely grain.
