Winslow: Crown Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin (Viking)

Product Number: 002-036-1921

Here we see a firm-heeled, yet flowing take on the bent Dublin from Poul Winslow, featuring a slightly elongated transition that gradually works its way to the gently downturned saddle stem out back. The shank notably features a series of eight subtle panels that dissolve seamlessly into the stout bowl. This piece also fits naturally in hand and displays a highly organic aesthetic as the broad, flaring rim wears a crown of craggy plateau, echoing the rugged rustication along the bowl's fore, aft, base, and shank. The smooth areas display an excellent area of flame grain, showcased by a warm contrast stain that perfectly complements the rest of the stummel's reddish tone.
