One of Poul Winslow's more minimalist designs, this piece sees the Danish carver forgoing his signature use of ridgelines and carved channels for a streamlined, stout-bodied take on the classic Apple shape. The bowl's plump curves are remarkably pleasing in hand, with the inflated rim furthering reinforcing its soft, supple shaping. The acrylic stem tapers beautifully toward the lip button while the briar's grain is tastefully highlighted by one of Winslow's rich contrast stains.
