Quite a traditional interpretation for the Winslow portfolio, this Billiard presents a bowl with minimal forward cant and a lifting heel for a bit more Danish curvature than found in the English shape-chart standards. The stain is a brilliant honey-blonde that shades the flame grain in impressive illumination, and the shank is understated in diameter, providing a slender length leading to the stylized mouthpiece with a groove along its top, as though starting a half-saddle configuration but instead rising again for a tapered effect. Overall, its long and slender proportions emphasize the bowl for a classic shape with delicate Danish influence.
