Winslow: Rusticated Bent Apple with Silver (E)

Product Number: 002-036-2357

A take on the bent Apple that is quite novel for Poul Winslow, this pipe features a stummel that has been adorned completely with a wire-style rustication. The bowl is quite charmingly plump and sits on a subtly lifted heel, allowing for better appreciation of the bulbous, handsomely rounded chunk of briar. A trim shank sits at a light angle, thanks to the smooth, almost sweeping, transition and leads to a broad band of silver along its end, the combination married to a demurely curved stem of black acrylic. The deep chestnut stain of the stummel is given some handsome contrast by the silver band, and the overall aesthetic fostered is both refined and rugged, making this a pipe which can be smoked on any occasion.
