Winslow: Crown Smooth Apple (300) Tobacco Pipe

This minimalist interpretation of the Apple shape from Poul Winslow is a more conservative design than is often seen from the Danish carver. The charmingly plump bowl is voluptuous in hand with supple curves and a waistline just above the transition. Out back, the shank and stem taper gradually toward the bit in a design cue often seen in Italian pipes. Dressed in a vibrant, blonde and auburn stain, it's a great example of simple, yet handsome, shaping.
