Winslow: Smooth Bent Apple with Silver (C) Tobacco Pipe

A low-slung bent Apple from Poul Winslow, this one is almost squat enough to be a Pot, and almost straight enough to be, well, straight. The bowl does display a charming plumpness however, and the svelte saddle stem turns downward just slightly enough to earn it's bent moniker. A vibrant smooth finish dresses the briar's stunning flame grain, and a bright silver band near the shank end adds a regal touch. A bit of an elongated rendition, at least in proportion to the bowl height, it strikes a proud posture, and will be a lively addition to any rotation.
