A tall, Stack-like bent Billiard from Poul Winslow, this lithe beauty manages nearly two inches of chamber depth while keeping its weight in easy clenching territory. The bowl tapers elegantly, while the rounded heel and easy transition create a delightful presence in hand. The briar here is arranged in a cross-grain orientation, rewarding us with dense fields of birdseye, especially resplendent on the right flank and made stunning by a smooth finish and vibrant contrast stain. A gleaming silver accent at the shank end adds a flash of handsome contrast, while the svelte acrylic saddle stem stretches luxuriously out back.
