A unique, eye-catching Freehand from Poul Winslow, this piece possesses a tall, Stack-like bowl that's thrust up and forward by a stepped transition. Said transition features deep channels on either flank that provide some nice tactile purchase for the fingers, while the thick shank curls upwards out back. The underside of the stummel bears a dense, rugged patch of plateau that further accentuates the composition's naturalistic aesthetic. The rest of the stummel wears a warm, affable smooth finish that showcases some sweeping flame grain across the sides of the bowl. Boasting a generous chamber depth, this piece ensures plenty of long, luxurious smoking sessions in a pipe of truly unique character.
