A charming straight Apple from Poul Winslow, this piece showcases a sleek build, with a soft fore portion and more structured aft. Said aft section is paired with a stylized saddle stem, with the shank end marked by a matching black band of acrylic and a broad silver fitment that offers a striking and elegant contrast. The transition is quite wide, offering plenty of room to drape a thumb, and flows easily into the aft wall of the bowl, its angle lending the rim a forward slant. A sweeping heel rises up and accentuates a plumpness at the walls, and the heartiness of the overall build offers a lovely canvas for a smoky contrast stain that reveals lovely grain all around.
