Winslow: Smooth Bent Dublin (D) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-036-2504

This bent Dublin from Poul Winslow is a rugged, thoroughly Danish piece, with a gentle bit of curvature to its overall build that lends it a sense of elegant gesture, with some rugged texture offered by the plateau-crowned rim. The saddle stem here is very softly downturned, meeting a multicolored acrylic accent at the shank end that not only offers a dash of color, but creates some separation between the stummel and stem. The transition is quite wide, giving one plenty of room to drape a thumb, with the bowl blooming out of it gracefully, an easygoing flare persistent from the sweeping heel to the forward canting rim. Dressing the briar here is a warm chestnut contrast stain that unveils streaks of flame grain wrapping around the bowl and through the shank.
