This straight Apple from Poul Winslow is a fine bit of Danish craftsmanship, replete with plenty of curves, a sleek, elegant sense of line, and a touch of organicism. The voluptuous, gently rounded bowl possesses a forward-canted rim and a subtly lifted heel. Said heel lends the bowl a gestural poise in profile that's offset by the slightly muscular shank-and-stem arrangement that stretches out back. The lengthy stummel wears a glossy auburn smooth finish that showcases some fine tendrils of flame grain on either flank of the bowl and plenty of birdseye across the heel.
