Winslow: Smooth Apple with Silver (D) Tobacco Pipe

A pert and poised straight Apple from Poul Winslow, this pipe showcases a sleek aft end thanks to its low-profile shank and svelte tapered stem, the black acrylic meeting a ring of the same material at the junction which is additionally fitted with a broad band of silver. The shank here ebbs out of a wide transition, growing to a plump bowl with a high-set waistline that terminates in a dipped, softly inflated rim which features a slope into the tobacco chamber. Dressing the briar here is a warm mahogany contrast stain that reveals bountiful birdseye on the flanks of the bowl, specifically the right, and handsome cross grain wrapping through the top and bottom.
