Poul Winslow forgoes his usual fluting ridges and channels in this lightly bent Apple, instead crafting a pipe that presents a more classic form. The plump bowl features a lifting heel and the charming demeanor of the Apple, including cheeking by the transition. It's accented by a gleaming band of silver that lends a tasteful bit of flash, while contrasting with the jet-black, stylish stem. The stummel is wearing one of the carver's vibrant, ruby rustications, offering plenty of visual and tactile intrigue, with the rim smoothly stained for contrast.
