Within the Crown series, Poul Winslow designates certain "Collector" pieces that distinguish themselves with especially noteworthy grain. This bent Dublin displays quite the show of flickering flame grain, well-oriented in relation to the flaring bowl. Shape-wise, it's a bold, bowl-centric bent Dublin, the shank and stem rather conservatively curved, though still angled well for comfortable smoking, with a ridgeline-wrapped heel that enhances its muscular presence. The easy transition makes for a great thumb rest behind, while the stummel's vibrant auburn contrast stain is complemented by the jet-black acrylic stem.
