Winslow: Crown Smooth Bent Dublin (300) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-036-3208
With a career spanning over five decades, Poul Winsløw has become one of Denmark's most prolific carvers, getting his start in the workshop of Preben Holm, one of the fathers of the Danish Fancy style of carving. It's this style that's gone on to influence his workmanship as the years have passed, combining with the more reserved elements of Danish classicism to foster a unique aesthetic. This signature style comprises pieces that are often large and imposing, with firm ridges and fluting channels poised alongside softly rounded contours and gently flowing lines. The Crown series is Winsløw's entry-level line of pipes, providing his strikingly original style in a variety of finishes and across a myriad of shapes, from classic profiles to dramatic Freehands. Grading ranges from Viking to Collector, with 200 and 300 in between, with this particular 300 bent Dublin dressed in a smooth finish.
