Wojtek Pastuch: Smooth Bent Brandy with Warthog Tusk and Brass (1141) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-811-0088
Wojtek Pastuch is an immensely talented carver that crafts classic shapes with the same exacting precision and attention to detail as his more whimsical work. This bent Brandy hews closer to the traditional end of his shaping spectrum, but it is nonetheless a gorgeous design. It features a supple bowl that tapers from its broad, rounded heel toward its taut rim. The cheeked transition exaggerates the plumpness of the bowl's base and lends it further definition, which effectively draws attention to the disparity between heel and rim. The upturned shank and slender, arcing stem of jet-black vulcanite offer a touch of sinuosity to the overall composition while maintaining the curvaceous nature of the shape. It's handsomely dressed in a smoky smooth finish that highlights the gorgeous strands of flame grain that streak toward the rim in perfect harmony with the bowl's taper. The shank end features an accent of Warthog tusk and brass, both of which provide an extra bit of visual flair to the pipe. It's a stunning and lush design, and measuring under five inches in length, it's also ideal for on-the-go smoking.
