Wojtek Pastuch: Sandblasted Bent Dublin (1409) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-811-0112
Trained by Domenico "Mimmo" Romeo and Tom Eltang, Polish pipe artisan Wojtek Pastuch crafts a wide range of designs, from timeless to eccentric silhouettes. Many of Pastuch's pipes showcase impressive line work and balanced proportions, paying homage to his Danish influences. That skill is showcased here in this bent Dublin, displayed in Nosewarmer proportions at under four and half inches in length. This incredibly lightweight offering from Pastuch also houses a compact tobacco chamber, making this an ideal pipe for short and satisfying smoking sessions. Rising from a sharply pointed heel, the walls of the bowl flare toward the domed rim that looks into the aforementioned chamber. Out back, a tightly-knit transition gives way to a high-kicking shank-and-stem combination that bends toward the bit, the latter cut from cumberland. The red and black hues of the mouthpiece pair well to the ruby-tinged smooth rim, both juxtaposing the ebony sandblasted stummel, providing ample texture to enjoy.
