Wojtek Pastuch: Sandblasted Apple with Titanium (1410) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-811-0114
Polish artisan Wojtek Pastuch is known for crafting a variety of designs, from traditional Anglo-French silhouettes to more eccentric and flamboyant pieces. Mentored by Domenico "Mimmo" Romeo and Tom Eltang, Wojtek Pastuch also pulls inspiration from Danish shaping cues, as seen in this Apple. The bowl is dramatically canted as its plump walls rise from a forward urging heel toward the rim that looks into a compact tobacco chamber, making this piece ideal for shorter and satisfying smoking sessions. Out back, the shank is slender and flares toward its face which connects to the contemporary accent of titanium, its iridescent hues adding colorful contrast to an otherwise dark pipe. A tapered stem of vulcanite brings up the rear, its jet-black pigment complementing the ebony sandblasted stummel, which displays handsome growth rings throughout.
