Yeti: Sandblasted Natural Bent Dublin with Bakelite (687) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-660-0156
Micah Cryder, the Montana native and carver of Yeti Pipes, often crafts pieces that ascribe to the American artisan aesthetic of muscular, compact designs. This bent Dublin is rather muscular, but is a departure from the oft-favored compact length. The artisan's stylistic range is vast, his portfolio often reflecting pieces rife with organicism, which is the case with this piece. A lifting heel contributes to a forward sense of momentum, while the gradual flare leads to a rim crowned in natural, craggy plateau. Embodying the soft lines associated with Danish design cues, the shank gradually broadens to a flared end. This piece is dressed in a natural-stained sandblast, showcasing gorgeous stacks of grain, while the emerald hues of the Bakelite stem lend a mesmerizing pop of color.
