McClelland - Ashton Revival: Old Dog 50g
Old Dog
For a "full English" it is not overbearing and there is no bite. It smokes without giving that "nicotine kick". Like this blend and would consider getting more. Smoked it in my New Peterson Donegal Rocky B10. What a treat.

Mac Baren - HH Acadian Perique 3.5oz
Best Perique Blend
This is the best perique blend so far. No over powering with perique but just enough to give it that nicotine kick.

Dunhill - Standard Mixture 50g
The Standard Smoke
This blend deserves 5 stars. It will be the blend that I'll use to rate other "English" blends. It's what made Dunhill tobacco famous, no doubt. It's a mild smoke that can be enjoyed as an all day blend. It does not leave any heavy smell in the pipe bowl. The Latakia is unnoticeable in my opinion.

Skandinavik - Regular Cavendish 4.5oz
Good Danish Cavendish
Had 8 empty cans of the Original Blend, made by Peter Stokkebye. It was a favorite when looking for a Danish cavendish. Had 1 empty with the light label made by Orlik. Tobacco Co. Will have to try the Orlik version again, to see if it smokes as good as the Original Blend.

Cornell & Diehl - Odessa 2oz
Good Smokes
This is a great blend for folks who want to try an non-aromatic tobacco. I enjoy Balkan and English blends but this blend does not have any heavy condiment tastes associated with either. Will be ordering more in larger tins, if available. It can be the tobacco blend to enjoy throughout the day. Any old timers from N.J. remember Schulte's Pipe Shop in Maplewood, N.J.? They used to sell a blend called "Jolly Tar".That was an interesting blend. Before old smoke shops close, if their blends were registered with the U.S. patent office, others could purchase the recipe, from their heirs. Hope Smoking pipes looks into this issue. Know of another shop that will be, in the near future closing, He might have some good selling proprietary blends to offer. Of course the proprietary blends could be purchased without being registered, in my humble opinion, without going through the expense of registering it.

McClelland - Craftsbury: Frog Morton on the Town 100g
Mildest Oriental Blend
Opening the tin, it has a tame note. Can see the Latakia but it is very mild when smoking. Would recommend this blend to anyone who has not tried an oriental tobacco. It's the mildest so far in my experience. Also recommended for smokers of English blends as well. Will be ordering more of this McClelland Frog Morton on the Town,"smooth Oriental". Will recommend it to the You-Tube pipe smoking community, even though yours truly does not produce videos, only comments.
