CAO - Moontrance 50g
Moontrance
Tin aroma is vanilla and bourbon with some fruity essence and hints of coconut. The flavor profile is mainly vanilla with some hints of fruit and coconut. The flavors are light and last for about 3/4 of the bowl. This is a decent blend. But once again, the cigar version is better.
Super Value - Black & Gold 1.5oz
Super Value Black & Gold
This is a good, solid blend for what it is. Has a decent flavor, a great room note, and doesn't bite. Great price point as well.
CAO - Eileen's Dream 50g
Eileen's Dream, But My Nightmare
Tin aroma is Irish Cream Liquor and white chocolate. The tin aroma and room note are amazing. Flavor profile to me is virtually non-existent. Just a generic sweet flavor. I tried this blend in multiple pipes and with multiple packing methods with the same flavor results. I had high hopes based on the tin aroma, but it fell flat for me. The good thing is that it smoked cool, dry, and didn't bite. The cigars are much better IMO.

Paladin - Black Cherry 1.5oz
Paladin Black Cherry
This is just an OK blend. Some may like it. But to me, it isn't worth the effort to smoke it and avoid tongue bite. There are too many other better cherry blends out there for me.

Cornell & Diehl - Night Train 2oz
ALL ABOARD! - Night Train
This is an awesome tobacco! I just love it! It is a straight forward tobacco for tobacco lovers. Tin aroma is a nice sweet and tangy smell that tickles the nose and makes your mouth water. Flavor profile is just a nice tobacco flavor that is lightly sweet and tangy. But be warned, this blend packs a wallop!

This is my favorite out of the 7 Seas blends that I have smoked (Regular, Gold, Royal). Tin aroma is chocolate with hints of raisins and coffee. Flavor profile is hints of chocolate, raisins, and light hints of coffee. The is a pretty good blend.
Mac Baren - 7 Seas Gold 3.5oz
7 Seas Gold
Tin aroma is vanilla with hints of chocolate. Flavor profile is Vanilla. The vanilla flavor lasted good through the half way point. But from that point on, it continuously faded more and more. A solid blend.
Mac Baren - 7 Seas Royal 3.5oz
7 Seas Royal Blend

Peterson - Old Dublin 50g
Old Dublin
Tin aroma is smoky and sweet with a little bit of tang in the nose. Flavor profile is smoky and sweet with a light hint of bitterness on the finish. I would classify this as a lighter Latakia blend.
Dunhill - Early Morning Pipe 50g
Early Morning Pipe
Tin aroma is earthy and sweet with hints of smokiness. The flavor profile is spicy and sweet with light hints of smokiness. A really good blend.
Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 2oz
Haunted Bookshop
Tin aroma is a nice straight forward tobacco with a light hint of tanginess. The flavor profile offers straight forward tobacco accompanied by light hints of sweetness, fruit, wood, and spice. The Perique in this blend does not offer the usual pepper/spice that is normal is a lot of other blends. It is more subdued. A good, solid Burley blend that goes great with a cup of coffee.
Captain Earle's - Ten Russians 2oz
Ten Russians - A Lat Bomb!
Ten Russians is a Latakia Bomb blend. Tin aroma is sweet, smoky, and earthy with a hint of tanginess. Flavor profile is woody, earthy, smoky, and a light sweetness. If you don't like Latakia, stay far away from this blend.
Captain Earle's - Honor Blend 2oz
Honor Blend - I Love It!
This blend packs a punch in the strength department. The strength builds as the bowls progresses. Tin aroma is rich, sweet, and slightly earthy with a hint of plums. Flavor profile is of tobacco, sweetness, spice, pepper, and wood. An awesome blend.
G. L. Pease - JackKnife Plug 2oz
JackKnife Plug
This is a great straight forward tobacco blend. The flavor profile is sweet, smoky, and spicy. The Kentucky adds a lot of depth to this blend. I love it! But be warned, it is a strong blend.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Bob's Chocolate Flake 50g
Bob's Chocolate Flake
Tin aroma is chocolate, cocoa, and Latakia with a hint of the Lakeland essence. The flavor is tobacco that is deep and rich with notes of chocolate, cocoa, with a light hint of Lakeland. This is a great blend!
Erinmore - Erinmore Mixture 100g
Erinmore Mixture
Tin aroma is a sweet tobacco smell with some fruitiness to it.The flavor was sweet and I could taste the fruitiness of the flavoring. It seems to me like a tropical type fruitiness. It is a light flavoring and I could still taste the tobacco in this blend as well.
Sir Walter Raleigh - Regular 1.5oz
Sir Walter Raleigh
I know that this blend has been out for a very long time, but there is something with it that just doesn't mesh with me. While others seem to enjoy this blend, I do not like it at all.
Cornell & Diehl - Opening Night 2oz
Opening Night
Tin aroma is a sweet and tangy Virginia tobacco smell. The flavor is sweet, tangy, and spicy. It tastes great and I love this blend.
Dan Tobacco - Sweet Vanilla Honeydew 50g
One of the BEST Vanilla Aromatics
This is a great vanilla blend. The tin aroma smell like real vanilla. And the flavor transfers through to the smoke. The vanilla flavor stayed through to the end. Don't push this blend though, because it will bite and lose its flavor when too hot. Slowly smoke/sip it.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Rum Flake 50g
Rum Flake (YUM)
In the tin aroma, I pick up on rum, licorice, and vanilla as well as some tang from the Virginias. The flavor is very complex and is accompanied by the Lakeland essence. This is a great smoke if you enjoy the Lakeland tobaccos. It can bite if pushed too hard.
Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning 2oz
Bayou Morning
The tin aroma is tangy and sweet. This blend started off tasting sweet and tangy. Around the mid-bowl point, the Perique stepped in and added some spice and pepper notes to the flavor. It left a very pleasant aftertaste on the palate. This is a very good blend that is balanced out well.
Carter Hall - Carter Hall 1.5oz Pouch
Carter Hall
The pouch aroma surprised me a little bit. I was expecting a straight tobacco aroma, but instead I detected a smell reminiscent of red wine. Not a bad thing. I also tasted the wine flavor mixed with a little nuttiness during the first half of the smoke. The second half, I detected no wine. Just nutty Burley tobacco. This tobacco never bit, no matter how hard I pushed it and was pleasant to smoke. This is a solid blend.
Peterson - Sunset Breeze 50g
Sunset Breeze
Amaretto was evident in the tin aroma. This blend requires a slow smoke/sipping cadence or it will bite you. The amaretto flavor lasted between 1/4 and 1/2 of the bowl for me before it was gone and was replaced with a generic sweet flavor. Overall it is a decent blend.
Peterson - Irish Flake 50g
A Great, Strong Blend
This is a great blend for those of us that like stronger tobacco blends. The flavor is a superb, straight forward tobacco that is slightly sweet, smoky, and tangy. But be warned, it packs a punch. Delicious.
Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Flake 50g
One of the Best Virginia Blends
This is one of the best Virginia blends there is in my opinion. While not being a complex smoke, it is a very nice, naturally sweet smoke. A great blend to sit back, relax, and slowly sip on your pipe.
Samuel Gawith - Fire Dance Flake 50g
A Great Aromatic!
One of the best aromatics made. The flavor of blackberries and brandy come through with no problem. The flavors sit on quality tobacco which you can taste as well.
