Sutliff - Match Late Evening
Definitely a Keeper
I bought this on a trip with my future son-in law to his local B&M. He is starting out in the hobby/lifestyle. I have wanted to try the original but this is more attractive due to the availability in bulk. As another reviewer wrote , it hits all the cylinders. The latakia is good. The orientals service to balance the latakia. The perique is nice and peppery; which I like. It is termed a Scottish blend because of the addition of the perique. There are alot of great English blends out there but I really like the inclusion of the blessed space from Louisiana.

Cornell & Diehl - Poplar Camp
Best Value
Poplar Camp is indeed "flying under the radar". There may be other Va/Pers with better reputations. However this is of very good quality, readily available and available in bulk. So it checks all my boxes. Good show C&D ! My go to morning smokeis iPegasus ( which I love) but I miss the perique.

Cornell & Diehl - Poplar Camp
Nuance and Dependability
This is a wonderful blend. If one has the time he/she can sit back and notice the nuances ( the peppery perique and the bread bakery taste) . as the black Cavendish helps the Vas give it sweet notes. I am a fan 9f Bayou Night but it was not 8n stock. A friend had suggested this . I am so glad he did. In two weeks I have gone through 2 9z. I am really glad I ordered 8 oz.

Sutliff - B21 Black Spice
A Great Room Note Smoke
If you are looking for a blend with a great room note that actually tastes like it smells; this blend might be for you. I am not an aromatic sm9ker. However I wanted a blend that would please the general public. I have tried a bunch of aromatics over the years. For me, none really compares to Black Spice for me. I really enjoy the spices. involved and the taste is true to smell. I will try to keep some on hand.

Cornell & Diehl - Poplar Camp
Nuance and Dependability
I am a Bayou Night fan. When I made my last order that was out. So on recommendation of a friend so ordered Poplar Creek. I am so glad I did. It prov9ded a good change of pace. In terms of VA/Pets I have tried and liked. Peter Stokebye' s Bullseye flake. Loved it and the coin delivery . Poplar Camp is great in that the smoker can take time to notice it's nuances ( the peppery perique, the taste of being in a bakery and the rounding effect of the black cavendish). Yet Poplar Creek can be a really good all day smoke.
