Sutliff - Maple Shadows II 8oz
A great blend
I am really enjoying this one. I have my rating scale from 1 to 20 based on several attributes. This is solid 20 in my opinion.
Kramer's - Father Dempsey 50g
Fantastic blend
To me this is a medium strength English. The latakia is just right, with the smoky flavor lasting the whole bowl. I have certain blends that I love to smoke while reading a good book and this is one of them. I will be stocking up on Father Dempsey.
Cornell & Diehl - The Beast 2oz
First bowl of "The Beast"
Just now 3/4 of the way through my first bowl of "The Beast" and really liking it. Smoking it in one of my Vesz pipes. They are smaller and does this blend honors. Lights nicely with a rich smokiness. The flavor is great, a very relaxing smoke which is one of my most important rating. I do think there is high nicotine content. I am glad I purchased 6 tins of this blend since it is a limited addition.
Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
Black Frigate
Tried a couple of bowls of Black Frigate for the first time. Them immediately ordered 4 - 8 oz tins. I guess that means it rated very high with me. Tin note is fantastic!! Great blend.
Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz

I really like this blend. I think the orientals put it a notch above others. This is one of those that I think even a non burley smoker would find very satisfying.
Cornell & Diehl - We Three Kings 2oz
Great blend
I have to give this 5 stars. I think the addition of the Orientals is making this one stand out for me. I highly recommend giving this a try even if you are not a aromatic smoker.
Cobblestone - Indulge Cherry Delight 1.5oz
Outstanding
This is a great blend. smokes cool and has a great taste. Really glad I gave it a try. On the top of my list and I will be buying more, also will be trying the other Cobblestone blends.

Sillem's - Black 100g
Top Notch Blend
It always takes me at least two bowls of a blend I have not had before to decide if I like it or not. I think it just takes me that long to get the packing just right as each blend for me is a little different despite maybe being the same cut. After getting settled in with Sillem's Black I can say I really like it. It seems a little more aromatic than English aromatic to me. The quality of the tobacco in this this blend is top notch.

I give it a A+ for taste, no bite, easy light, stays lit, cut, tin note, room note, and has great aging attributes so put a couple of tins back.
Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning 2oz
Delicious
Not sure if the current Bayou Morning blend is the same as my 9.5-year-old tin of 067 Bayou Morning that I just opened is, but this tin is excellent. This really must have aged well. A sweet, full bodied, notes of fruit and a great aroma. A truly delicious smoke that I will be stocking up on.
A&C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
New favorite
Let me preface these observations by stating that the tin I opened had aged 11.5 years and I really need to try a new tin to compare. I really like the tin note, for me is was an earthy, old hay, coffee, and fresh baked cinnamon bread. The thin coins folded and packed very nicely. About a quarter of the way down bowl the sweetness just busts through along with exceptional taste. Keeps getting better as you smoke down the bowl. No bite and excellent taste.
Captain Earle's - Diamond Head 2oz
Things change
The first couple of bowls I was on the edge if I really liked this or not. Then I switched to a meerschaum pipe and the full flavor came through. This is great for a person that likes full English blends. I would recommend giving it a try and I personally will be adding several tins to my stock..
Dan Tobacco - Treasures of Ireland: Galway 50g
Needs another try
I would not mind having another tin of this to age, but I did not find it one of my favorites. May be worth another try later. Found it a little lacking in taste.

I just opened a tin of Arcadia that I had aged for almost 9.5 years. Just opened another tin and is it fantastic.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Sweet Black Cherry Twist
A new favorite
This was my first experience with a rope or twist blend and I have to say I love it. Great morning, noon and night smoke. No bite and great taste and aroma. This could possibly be one of those tobaccos that you’re either a lover of or it is just not going to be on your likes list at all, but I highly recommend you give it a try.
