Sir Walter Raleigh - Regular 7oz
Awesome
I started smoking pipes seriously a few months ago. I set out to find my go to tobacco. I tried English blends, VaPers, aromatic Cavendishes, etc. I watched YouTube videos with pipe smoking tips and tobacco reviews. The descriptions of flavors, different taste experiences intrigued me and whetted my appetite for the hobby. I soon discovered I had a taste for Burly over other tobaccos, and started looking in that direction exclusively. With cost a consideration, I went for the old Codger blends - Captain Black, Prince Albert, Half & Half, Carter Hall, Mixture no. 79. I liked Half & Half the best, and could have made that "my smoke," but then tried SWR. THAT was what I was looking for. It has a flavor that is utterly delicious. It is good from first light to the absolute bottom of the bowl, and I smoke it to the last bit of tobacco remaining. Some speak of hints of molasses and cocoa, and I guess that 's what it is. But it is terrific, and one of a kind. There is nothing like SWR. My search is over.
