Rojas - Street Tacos Cinco de Mayo 2025
from Verde to Mole
1/3 - Cedar, toasted oak, rawhide, grass ( nothing amazing) 2/3 - (a bit more astringent but not off-putting personally) , woody notes become more mesquite/hickory but not too nutty , still a prominent cedar note, red meat and dark fruit come through strong 3/3 - Completely different, less pepper on the retrohale, the leathery dark fruit notes are in your face, savory meaty fermented flavors are up front with chocolate/cedar as a compliment. Gets pretty "creamy" as you get to the nub.

A great stick
I really enjoy these they are delicious, a great deal for how enjoyable they are. I would give 5 stars but some have sun spots on the wrapper which doesn’t affect the experience at all but caught my attention immediately. I have finished a pack and I will keep buying them for as long as they are available.

Just finished my first tin
After letting the first tin I bought rest for a year, I was too curious to wait any longer. My expectations were exceeded, This is a fantastic combination of all the things I love about a Vaper with the addition of white burley which I absolutely love. This gem of a pipe tobacco deserves all the respect it gets. Smokes perfectly, it’s perfect right out of the can. If I could find it readily available I would smoke this more than I do Orlik which is very different but shares a lot of the same characteristics and flavors. Buy it when you can, it’s fantastic!

Somewhat similar to Quiet nights, but with a distinct mesquite sweetness in the latakia setting it apart. The end of the bowl reminds me of the sweetness of gaslight. Overall it is very different than both and i am contemplating assigning a single pipe to it because it has subtle hickory/mesquite/clove characteristics that stand out.

Solani - Aged Burley Flake - 656 50g
5 star burley
This has been my favorite burley flake by far for many years. It fails to let me down. Very high quality tobacco that has not fallen off in quality at any point in its production. Get it when you can. Nutty, natural, slight cocoa and anise notes with burley up front. The best!
Cornell & Diehl - Steamworks 2oz
Amazing
The orientals give a second dimension i enjoy greatly. The sweetness is subdued and rich, not typical which I really enjoy. Smoking slowly really is key. And I prefer not to dry it out at all. after a while... (Upon opening a tin with just a bit of age I get the ketchup/vinegar notes) I am reminded of a long lost friend

Very nice english blend, not as heavy on the lat as I expected from the description. Nothing too special about it but the interplay of the Turkish and burley was what stood out to me. Glad I grabbed a few tins, I'll be saving my other tins for cold weather.
