Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop Cake 2oz
HB 2.0
2.0 isn't always better. Such is the case here. I find part of the magic of the original is discovering the components throughout the smoke. The Perique is restrained in this mixture, mellowed out from the pressing. I found myself missing the punch of the original. Still very good, though.

Sutliff - 507C Virginia Slices
Surprisingly Great
Bought 8oz, smoked one bowl, bought 8 more. Tons of flavor. Better than Orlik IMO

Mac Baren - Virginia Flake 1.75oz
Cheap Capstan
Capstan Blue is one of my all-time favorite smokes, though I can’t indulge in it as often as I’d like due to the price. While the difference isn’t huge, smoking a bowl daily adds up. It’s about $5 cheaper per tin, and I’d say that translates to being about $5 less flavorful—but even a slightly muted Capstan is still a fantastic smoke. It delivers a familiar earthy profile with a gentle honey-like sweetness and a touch of nuttiness from the Burley. Highly recommended.

Seattle Pipe Club - Hogshead 4oz
Not Great
Reading the description one is lead to believe this is something really special. It is not. I love a straight Virginia - almost every one on the market brings something to the table. This fell flat from the first to the last puff. Don't waste 40 bucks. It's ok, basic Red Virginia, mild sweetness. Just disappointing and not very flavorful.
