Peterson - Balkan Mixture 50g
Possibly my Favorite.
Solid English without being a Lat bomb. Great mild English. Cool smoking to the bottom of the bowl right out of the tin. I highly recommend.
Borkum Riff - Cherry Cavendish 1.5oz
Still the same after all these years.
First tried this blend over 40 years ago. Its mild, tasted good with the cherry topping. Room note is good not over powering. It stays lit and doesn’t bite if you don’t smoke like a freight train. It did leave the casing taste lingering throughout the next day.
Peterson - Old Dublin 50g
Great Blend
I cellared for over a year and wow awesome blend. Burns cool providing ample amount of smoky goodness. Provides a very balanced tastes between Virginias and Latakia with a hint of orientals. Sweet, smoky with a very slight hint of chocolate. I rediscovered this blend and recently bought more. This will be in my rotation.
Peterson - Sweet Killarney 50g
Decent Aromatic
A decent aromatic with good room notes and a sweet taste. Carmel and vanilla are accentuated. Taste of the black cavendish are very forward. Must sip to enjoy or you get tongue burn. I’m not a big aromatic guy but this one is not bad.
Cornell & Diehl - Blockade Runner 8oz
Great voyage in flavor!
Tin note is very nice with hint of rum. Crumbles easy needs a little drying time maybe 1/2 hr. Easy with the packing and sip. You’ll fined the Virginias sweet with a hint of rum. Room note is not over powering and nic hit is medium. Very enjoyable for an all day smoke.
Cornell & Diehl - Crooked Lane 2oz
Good English Blend
I really like this blend. Medium English not Latakia forward. Sweetness of the Virginia with no casings. Followed by the Smokiness of Latakia. Orientals are in the background along with very slight perique. Medium strength with a slow burn rate. Well worth a try.
Peterson - Royal Yacht 50g
Good solid smoke
I started smoking the Dunhill brand many years ago and found it was one of my favorites. Peterson is the exactly the same. The taste is rich VA with a slight topping of plum. It carries sweet notes and a sight nic hit. Not overwhelming by any means. I do recommend.

What a great tobacco especially when cellared
I love this blend. Right out of the can is good but I cellared for a few years. It’s great! The smokiness of the Latakia combined with the sweet Virginia rocks!
