Kopp - Caribbean Blue Drake 50g
too mild for me
If you're looking for an aromatic with an intense aroma/flavor like CBRM or BCA this is not that. The tin note was somewhat molasses-like with a bit of a fruity aroma, but it was pretty mild to me. Wasn't able to detect a whole lot of flavors from the toppings after it was fully lit, but I was outside and there was a bit of a breeze which I'm sure had an effect. It burned down to a white ash without getting too hot, and didn't goop up my pipe, so it gets some points for good mechanics. I'll have to revisit this one another time indoors.

I've only smoked a bowl of this, but it was very enjoyable. Definitely has that campfire taste and smell I was looking for. I was also satisfied to find this has a bit more nicotine strength than other latakia blends I've tried. Nothing too crazy, but enough to let you know it's there. Very good tobacco.

Really enjoying this one
Very mellow. Not much nic here which I don't mind at all. Thick creamy smoke that smells wonderful and tastes pretty much the same if you don't puff it too fast. Hasn't bit me yet and I've smoked a couple oz. now. I'll probably buy more of this one.

Worth a try
Good tobacco worth trying when it's available. I don't smoke it often, but when I do it's always an enjoyable experience.
Cornell & Diehl - Opening Night 2oz
It's alright.
Nothing special. There are much better Virginia flakes. Some of the flakes were especially wonky and had to be tossed. (pressed together so tightly, the tobacco was rock hard and had a glossy sheen like a piece of melted plastic)
Daughters & Ryan - Three Sails 16oz

Probably good as an RYO as its very tempting to inhale. As an ex-cigarette smoker, this is not really what I want in my pipe right now. This tobacco also manages to get in my mouth more than any of the other shag cut tobaccos that I smoke such as 5 brothers, le petit robin, or penny farthing. It tastes alright, but again, not for me.
Tabac De La Semois - Le Petit Robin 100g
Enjoyable
Definitely have to pack it tight and slow down with this one or it'll go up like gasoline. If you do that the flavors are great. Wouldn't smoke this one if there's any amount of wind or it will get hot fast.
Mac Baren - HH Pure Virginia 16oz
It's a good tobacco
It's a good Virginia. I probably wouldn't normally pick it over some other Virginias like PS400, but it's not bad at all. Glad I could grab some before it's gone forever.
Romeo y Julieta - 1875 Mini White Original (20 Pack)
Not a bad cigarillo
Burns evenly. Draw is good. It's nothing too special, but I have no real complaints about this one.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Not a fan
Came very very dry and broken. Flavor was gone, although the smell in the bag was great. Had to toss this one.

Smells good but, there's tons of better options. If it's all you can get smoke it, I guess, otherwise I'd avoid it.

It's a good blend.
It's step up from carter hall, but I like haunted bookshop better, I think.
Half and Half - Half and Half 7oz
It's alright
Nothing special, but it's a decent codger blend. The flavors a little light for me and the room notes nothing special for an aromatic either. Probably better for a new pipe smoker, but even then, there are better options. Not bad for what it is though.
Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Very strong cherry
This one's really growing on me. Easily my favorite aromatic that I've tried. The cherry aroma is very strong and tastes wonderful all the way through. Doesn't need any drying time and rarely requires relights. Will be buying more when/if it comes back into stock.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Whisky Twist
Haven't smoked it yet.
Tastes good to chew though. It's a quick nic fix if that's your thing.

Not quite what I wanted it to be.
I've smoked a bunch of this now and I just feel like it needs something more. I love the way it smells in the tin, but the flavor just feels a little thin to me. It's just a lot of latakia. It's alright, but I don't think I'll pick it up too often. Might use it to blend into other tobaccos.

I thought I wasn't a Virginia guy, but I love this stuff. I could smoke just this and be happy. I won't but I could haha. I'll probably try to get a few pounds of this to keep.

good stuff
doesnt really need a review. very straight forward burley blend. packs easy, stays lit, tastes good.
Peter Stokkebye - PS41 Cube Cut
classic taste
like others have said, it's got a lot in common with the codger blends, but it's a lot better in my opinion. the cubes are somewhat drier than expected, but it's not an issue. burns and stays lit well and tastes good.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Bob's Chocolate Flake 50g
good stuff
Been in an aromatic mood lately and this stuff is delicious. I get more of a floral flavor than chocolate, along with a woody/smokey flavor from the latakia. I'll probably buy more of this when it's available.
