Shank compromised quality
This was shaping up to be my favorite pipe. I’ve had many Missouris and they have done well for my workhorse smokers, this one only took 3-4 smokes and the shank split in 4 areas. I was going easy on this one too, so I was very surprised. It seems the shank is a different material than their regular pipes and perhaps it isn’t as strong.
