Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake
Lakeland Essence
If you could roll up the essence of visiting Ennerdale waters (a lake) and the surrounding English countryside untouched by the frantic pace of modernism, and could you roll up the poetry of Wordsworth in that essence and put it in your pipe and smoke it this is what it would taste like. Ahh heaven, or a minor one at that, but nonetheless a most pleasurable experience unless of course you hate the Lakeland essence.
Samuel Gawith - Chocolate Flake 50g
A real flake
This is a high quality, perfectly balanced, subtly charming, Virginia forward with the most delicately added Latakia which gives the chocolate a smoky baseline and delicious dark chocolate flavour which in our opinion isn't false to the overall composition but gives a sweet charisma to this already charming composition. Much recommended. We are not big on toppings but this is done so well and with class that we are sold on Samuel Gawith and can't wait to try their other fine products.

Reminiscence
Nostalgia bequeaths her gifts through memories imperfect recollection but nonetheless our sentiments may not altogether be untrue just because the apperatus be flawed. Perhaps it is even better to forget extraneous material around which the essence revolves and in this case subtly evolves. For like fine wine the taste of muscadines and freshly sheered grass and hot August hay give way to the soft delicate date. Like a masterpiece we want to experience with a friend. Again and again.

Near perfect
Being a neophyte of only several mostly enjoyable pipe smoking years we are hardly professionals at this but we know what we like and this is one that we felt we should give a mention. A perfect start for anyone curious about VaPers and especially transitioning from topping tobaccos. This is nearly perfect for the fact that as a Virginia it has everything one would look for but with the added benefit of sweet bergamot or tangerine but ever so subtle and a very ethereal wif of perique though we believe one would be hard-pressed to notice it honestly. But nonetheless a warm summer twilight. Excellent
