This is perhaps the best, most mature and flavorful VaPer out of the tin that C&D has ever produced. Simply sublime with every puff redolent with dark juicy red fruits and musty sour earthy perique. If by some miracle this blend ever returns my wallet will beg for mercy. 6/5 stars.

Dip your toes into the world of clay with this very low risk and low price entry piece. I suggest cutting a silicone straw to size and using to cover the end of the stem for much more comfortable smoking, otherwise it'll stick to your lips! lol . 5 stars

For 2 cents a pipe cleaner I think we can all stop complaining about lint and start rubbing it off with our fingers prior to use, simple solution for a minor problem. Will buy again in the future.

No nonsense Va
What is there to say about 507c? Buy a pound, stick it in a jar for 2 years and be rewarded by your wisdom of forethought with a sweet, bready and easy smoking virginia flake with no BS toppings or adulterations. 4 stars.
Cornell & Diehl - Blockade Runner 2oz
Green virginia soaked in rum
The tin I received tasted very fresh indeed and was positively soaked in rum. Wet tobacco that needs at least half an hour to smoke and at least 2 years on the shelf before I put it back in my pipe. I hope age tames this tongue searing sea beast. 2 and a half stars.

Does a decent job at displaying a couple of Savinelli's I have, a 320 and 316. Lightweight but mine doesn't feel flimsy at all. Does it's job
Sutliff - Maple Shadows II 8oz
Quality leaf aromatic
Sutliff has clearly used a higher quality leaf for this blend than the standard aromatic you might find in their portfolio or others. Tin note is very light maple and a hint of sweetness, not much else. Standard ribbon cut of approximately 75-80% light-med brown virginia and burley leaf with the dark fired and Cavendish making up the remainder. I only dried this blend for 10 minutes while I prepared my pipe and found the moisture level to be perfect. Took to the flame quite easily and provided a nice virginia flavor coupled with maple sweetness and some "spooky" spice from the DFK. Another homerun on the tin art from Sutliff. I'm rather looking forward to seeing what some years of age do to the tins stashed away in my cellar. Overall 4 out of 5 stars as it is fresh. Happy Halloween pipers!
Cornell & Diehl - Palmetto Balkan 8oz
BEST C&D BALKAN
To my amateur and unseasoned palate this is THE best balkan I've had made by Cornell & Diehl. The tin note is intoxicating, bursting with ripe dark fruit and woodsmoke, with a creamy heady background from the Virginia's and Orientals. This blend provided one of my first nirvana smokes in a Peterson 80s. From first light to fine white ash this is pure contemplative pleasure. PLEASE Jeremy Reeves, bring this blend back in 2024 and as the meme goes "I'll take your entire stock!" 6 out of 5 stars perfection
Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Twilight Mixture
Sweet "fresh" VaPer
Twilight mixture presents as a fairly chunky ready rubbed "flake" standard from C&D. The bag note is of mild Virginia sweetness and an almost yeast bread twang from the Orientals and Perique. This mixture packs well, has a good moisture out of the bag and I did not feel any need to dry it longer than the few minutes it takes to prepare my pipe and sitting area. The mild sweetness translates fairly well to the smoke. In the odd retrohale you'll taste those supporting Orientals and the perique makes its presence known on the back of the palate. This is a new blend when I purchased it and the components taste a bit "fresh". I think 1 year in a mason jar in the cellar will do this blend some good and allow the flavors to marry. 3 stars
Missouri Meerschaum - Fall Apple 2023
Handsome Pipe
This is another homerun from the fine folks at Missouri Meerschaum. This pipe is a great length, very comfortable weight for clenching and comes with an alluring dark brown stain and firey acrylic bit to remind you of the Autumnal season. I highly recommend you add this pipe to your collection. 5 stars
Sutliff - States of Virginia 1.5oz
Check your tins
Check the seal on your tins. I purchased 5 tins of states of virginia and 3/5 seals have already failed. I was able to revive the tobacco back to proper moisture but I worry for other's tins in their cellars.
Missouri Meerschaum - Cornell & Diehl Salem Woodsman
Well Balanced and striking appearance
This is another fantastic collaboration between Cornell & Diehl and Missouri Meerschaum. The pipe is actually 10 inches long with a deeper than average bowl. I was able to load my pipe with almost 3 rubbed out flakes of 2022 Carolina Red Flake and puffed away for close to 1 hr 45 min. While the length of this pipe would not seem to lend itself to clenching the weight balances it out nicely and I was able to clench for reasonable periods of time while reading. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars, another fantastic corn cob that you should add to your collection.
