Drew Estate - Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Fat Molly
well, that was a challenge
I'm actually *angry* at this cigar. So tight it's hard to draw, and it draws really hot even in the first inch. Way sweet wrapper and way bitter smoke. A struggle to keep lit, lots of puffing just makes it hotter. I'm throwing away the remaining 3/4 this is not pleasing.

Foundation Cigar Company - Charter Oak Connecticut Rothschild
Smooth and flavorful
The other reviews have nailed the flavor profile, a very pleasant smoke from start to finish.

Gran Habano - Connecticut #1 Churchill
Very pleasant
Mellow and smooth, nice even burn. Toasty with heady flavors popping out in every puff, hints of vanilla, pine, florals, walnuts and diesel. Nice with my afternoon coffee, lasted an hour and a half.

El Rey Del Mundo - Oscuro Robusto Largo
bold and smooth
Tons of thick rich smoke, with a hint of lily in the room effect. Strong notes of baking chocolate and dark coffee, toasted walnut and leather retrohale.

Joya de Nicaragua - Antano CT Lonsdale
good quality
Well constructed, burned very well. Mild but has some bite with flavors of oak, campfire and leather. Lasted well, with the final third getting a bit sharp and losing subtlety but never getting actually bitter.

Baccarat - No. 1
Overwhelmingly bitter
Bitter right from the start, I gave up halfway through.

Arturo Fuente - Conquistadors
Don't let the price fool you
A very good smoke, burns well and no acrid flavors. Stands up to cigars that are twice the price.

Hoyo de Monterrey - Excalibur Cigarillos (20 Pack)
Daily pleasure
I love the Excalibur cigars and the cigarillos are the perfect compliment.

San Cristobal - Elegancia Churchill
Solid choice
Smooth buttery smoke, developing cedar and leather notes. Never harsh in a two hour burn. Have to appreciate the label artwork too, very pretty.

Hoyo de Monterrey - Excalibur No. 3 English Claro
Amazing for the price
This might be my favorite cigar, a real pleasure. (I smoke the cigarillos daily.) Beautifully creamy, nice leathery notes on the retrohale, smokes all the way to the nub with no bitterness or char flavor. Best in its class.

Black Label Trading Company - BLK WKS Studio Killer Bee Connecticut Petite Corona
tasty treat
A nice find in the Connecticut variety pack, smooth and consistent burn with no acrid bite, good all the way down to the nub. Nice vaporous spicy notes, almost clove-like. Great pleasure with my morning coffee, about 45 minutes of nice rich smoke.
