I prefer a strong Latakia or Balkan over all other blends, so I was hesitant about Jock's Mixture. Most people say the Latakia is only suggested, but I found this to be an excellent all-day smoke. It does have, a milder flavour, but the Latakia makes itself known in the retrohale and the second half of the bowl. The woody spice and savoury nutty flavour are paramount at the start, and are most pleasing. Far better than I feared, and an excellent companion on an early autumn day.
