Absolute work of art
This is the most beautiful piece of functional art I have ever seen. I have a few Old Boys but this is the one lighter to rule them all. Pictures do not do this justice it is just spectacular!!!

Rich cool and very complex
This is a really unique blend, silky and creamy the The VA's pop right off the bat but the Red Va makes the orientals pop to a sour sweet breadyness and a smoky and faintly floral note brings it home. This is a very good blend.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - American Peach
A pleasant diversion
In a major departure of the norm I picked up some Gwaith Hogarth American Peach on a whim. It's actually quite good, rich tobacco flavor with a nice real peach flavor which is remarkably natural and complements the rich tobacco flavor well.This blend has a killer room note, I mean just amazing! It also smokes cool and has very little bite, and that little bite was probably because I didn't give it any drying time, it was a bit moist. I highly recommend trying it. I decided to revisit my review and upgrade it to 5 stars because I am finding myself continuously drawn to this blend. I find it immensely enjoyable.

A soothing smooth and rich smoke
The name of the blend says it all, this a smooth, balanced, easy smoking blend, rich and satisfying. I really enjoy this blend especially as a last bowl of the day.

This blend is what an oriental forward English should be, Rich, Creamy, Exotic, Mesmerizing, almost magical, layer upon layer of flavor. In my humble opinion this is one of the finest blends on earth! Penzance has this hype and mystique surrounding it, and its good, especially with a year or 2 aging, but in my humble opinion, Quiet Nights is what Penzance wants to be when it grows up. Buy the big tin, trust me!

An atypical exceptional aeromatic
I was very fortunate to be a lab rat on this blend and it really made me question what an aeromatic is, yes this blend has a great room note, and yes this blend is noticeably top dressed, but this isn't some mild tasteless tobacco someone threw a lot of glop on to make it smell like candy, the tin note is fine tobacco, mainly premium Va's and an ever so slight vanilla and bourbon note. Now the complexity of this blend begs to be sipped slow and savored, this is a fine tobacco blend with a complementary bourbon vanilla both flavor and aroma. I highly recommend it it!

This is an incredible blend from the master, clean and rich tobacco taste, exotic and enchanting. A blend that needs to be sipped slowly. A real taste treat.

Forms Sugar Crystals like crazy
This is a blend of flue cured VA's that is dark, sweet and rich with lots of dark fruit flavor, sometimes its hard to believe it dos'nt have any Perique in it. This tobacco ages FANTASTICALLY, you wont beleive the sugar crystals that form on it, its amazing, ive seen some bags that the contents were nearly white (when fresh it is black as pitch)

Flavor for days, creamy Latakia, cool and smooth with a great lingering finish. Room note is more of a 3 or 4 though not unpleasant.

Rich and complex
Maybe one of the richest most complex tobaccos I have ever smoked, it is rich, cool, robust, creamy, spicy, sweet. It is everything. It isn't 4 dots strong though more like 3 and the room note is also a 3.

Seattle Pipe Club - Deception Pass 2oz
My one tobacco
A rich VaPer with a hint of orientals, rich cool subtly sweet with a Perique flavor that is not too spicy. I literally could smoke this all day every day for the rest of my life. It also has a very pleasant room note at most a 2 not a 3.

Tsuge - "Gunjin" God of Samurai 50g
Like it was topdressed with pepper spray
I thought this blend was harsh and biting, I detected no real flavor and my mouth literally hurt for 2 days. Now I will revisit it but no time soon.

Fujin's lighter brother
I swear this has Latakia in it but much less than Fujin, not as strong either but a rich creamy smooth complex blend. Another home run!

I wouldn't call it fierce, flavorful though
A rich and creamy quasai English with some oomph behind it. Great flavor and well blended. Lit well, burned cool and well. Another great God blend.

Dunhill - Three Year Matured 50g
Bit like a rabid dog
I smoked this fresh right out of the tin in a Missouri Meerschaum Wasp, this stuff bit like a rabid dog, it smoked hot, harsh and largely flavorless. The tin note was nice, not much of a top dressing noticeable, it wasn't too moist or dry, it was just about perfect. I'm not going to write it off yet, I may revisit in a week or 2 (when my mouth heals 😀)

Tsuge - "Ryujin" God of Dragon 50g
Spicy, Sweet, Smooth and Creamy
An amazing mix of flavors and textures, sweet, spicy, rich and creamy and deceptively strong. I agree with everything but the room note, I'd say it is more tolerable to pleasant. This is a strong tobacco and it will sneak up on you.

Outstanding, don't let the mention of the top dressing dissuade you
First off I hate licorice but am a Virginia tobacco fan so when the opportunity presented itself I snatched some up, there is no licorice (or fruit flavor besides what is present in Virginias. Although there is the hint dark fruit one would expect from a VaPer but no spice) in the bag note, while smoking, or the room note. This is best smoked in a tall narrow bowl, and it is good, smooth slightly sweet and tangy, it is everything a good Virginia should be and more. It is one of the finest shag cuts I've ever seen and packing can be a touch tricky. I wholeheartedly recommend this if I can keep getting it I would smoke this in regular rotation. Also, the room note is exquisite, my wife who hates most smoke smells liked it and you have no idea how much that says!

Lane Limited - 125th Anniversary 1.75oz
Good smoke, needs some age on it.
I got it in bulk and it was dry, I rehydrated it a little and tried it. I don't pick up much if any Perique, it's kind of like the vermouth in a martin, they made a good Virginia blend and just before shutting the tin gave a container of Perique a stern look. Don't get me wrong it was good and with months to a year or so on it it should be great.
